"Deep change doesn't happen overnight," Chey said. "Members need to continue voicing their opinions and communicating, deriving unprecedented challenges for change and finding directions. By constantly speaking out and actively expressing opinions, we can identify problems and find solutions."
"With the world changing rapidly, the conventional formulas for growth no longer apply to companies, and it has become difficult to find predetermined answers for personal growth," he said.
Furthermore, he emphasized that now, individuals must find their own means of growth, and that people who proactively seek their own tasks will be recognized for their value.
He added, "Customers will leave unless stories are created to continue the relationship. Even if carbon-neutral products are expensive, more people buy them due to their value. So now, it is important to create value, not just products."
The Icheon Forum, which lasted for four days starting from Monday, covered topics such as innovation in working methods, securing the future capabilities of members, evaluation and compensation, customer story, globalization and enhancing communication between the board and members. Over 2,600 people participated in the concluding session attended by Chey.
"The voices of members gathered at the Icheon Forum will serve as a catalyst for accelerating the practice of deep change. We will actively proceed with execution by designing optimal approaches for each organization," an SK Group official said.
