The 4.4 kilometer long walkathon will start at 9:30 a.m. from the main plaza of the park.
The organizer will offer hats and drinks to all participants who can also win an air purifier, a pair of running shoes, a pack of seaweed and other prizes through a lucky draw on the sidelines of the walkathon. Miss Korea 2019 and runner-ups of the beauty pageant will also participate in the event.
There is no entrance fee and the walkathon is open to anyone who is interested. Those who want to participate can visit hkturtle.com and fill out a registration form.
The lucky draw will be possible only among those who register through the internet. But those who show up without registration can also participate in the marathon.
Grade school students can receive certification for three hours of volunteer work if they register on?1365.go.kr?and sign themselves in at the marathon basecamp.
The Ministry of Culture, Sports and Tourism, the Ministry of Interior and Safety, the Ministry of Education and The Korea Times are among the supporters of the event and sponsors include Kiwi Media Group, Body Logic, Myungjang Mall and Namsan Cable Car.
