K-pop fans worldwide are eagerly waiting for May to come, as a slew of megastars are releasing their new music offerings next month. Included in the lineup are Le Sserafim, aespa and ONUES.
수많은 대형 스타들이 5월 신곡 발표를 예고하면서 전세계 K팝 팬들이 5월을 손꼽아 기다리고 있다. 컴백 예정인 그룹에는 르세라핌, 에스파 및 원어스가 있다.

The album will be fronted by the lead single of the same name featuring Grammy-winning American musician Nile Rodgers, according to the group's management company, Source Music. This is the first time that Rodgers has collaborated with a K-pop artist.
르세라핌 소속사 쏘스뮤직에 따르면 이번 앨범은 그래미상을 수상한 미국 뮤지션 나일 로저스가 피처링한 ‘언포기븐'의 동명 타이틀곡으로 시작된다. 로저스가 K팝 아티스트와 협업하는 건 이번이 처음이다.
Feli Ferraro, who was behind the success of K-pop juggernaut BTS' 2022 track "Run BTS" and other acclaimed musicians have joined the creative process of "UNFORGIVEN." It is a tune fusing hip-hop and funk rhythms, sampling the main theme song from the 1966 American movie, "The Good, the Bad and the Ugly."
방탄소년단의 2022년 트랙 ‘달려라 방탄'의 성공을 이끈 펠리 페라로를 비롯한 저명한 뮤지션들이 '언포기븐'의 창작 과정에 합류했다. 해당 곡은 1966년 개봉한 미국 영화 '석양의 무법자' 주제가를 샘플링해 힙합과 펑크 리듬이 어우러졌다.
"Through 'UNFORGIVEN,' Le Sserafim members will convey a message that they would walk their own path without obeying the rules set by the world," Source Music said in a statement.
쏘스뮤직은 "타이틀곡 '언포기븐'을 통해 르세라핌 멤버들은 세상이 정한 룰에 따르지 않고 자신만의 길을 걷겠다는 메시지를 전할 것"이라고 밝혔다.
The upcoming album will offer 12 other tracks including "Burn the Bridge," "No-Return (Into the Unknown), "Flash Forward" and "Between You, Me and the Lamppost." All five members took part in penning the lyrics of the latter and member Huh Yun-jin also participated in its production.
이번 앨범에는 '번 더 브리지(Burn the Bridge)', '노-리턴(No-Return)(Into the Unknown)', '플래시 포워드(Flash Forward)', '피어나(Between You, Me and the Lamppost)' 등 12곡이 수록된다. 다섯 멤버 전원이 ‘피어나'의 작사 과정에 참여했고 멤버 허윤진은 프로듀싱에도 참여했다.
Le Sserafim plans to run its first-ever pop-up store in Seongsu District, eastern Seoul, to showcase diverse items including the outfits and accessories worn by the members. The store is scheduled to run from April 26 to May 7.
르세라핌은 서울 성수동에서 첫 팝업스토어를 열어 멤버들이 착용한 의상, 액세서리 등 다양한 제품을 선보일 계획이다. 팝업스토어는 4월 26일부터 5월 7일까지 운영될 예정이다.

"MY WORLD," the third mini-album by girl group aespa, will arrive on the music scene, May 8.
걸그룹 에스파의 미니앨범 3집 ‘마이 월드'가 5월 8일 가요계에 상륙한다.
The upcoming six-track EP will tell a new story about aespa set in its musical universe, according to the quartet's record label, SM Entertainment. Aespa's fictional musical universe centers on the themes of metaverse and digital avatars.
4인조 에스파 소속사 SM엔터테인먼트에 따르면 6곡이 수록된 이번 신보는 에스파만의 독특한 음악적 세계를 배경으로 에스파에 대한 새로운 이야기를 들려줄 예정이다. 에스파의 가상 음악 세계는 메타버스와 디지털 아바타를 중심으로 한다.
